Superb food - can not recommend Bangla highly enough - food arrives quickly even on a Saturday night and hot - delivery drivers very good

Placed my order at 4:35pm for delivery at 5:30pm. I rang Bangla at 6.05 to enquire if it was in transit , I was told it was. 6:40pm, food arrived. Firstly the food was stone cold , secondly only half the order was there. We had ordered two main meals that included rice as part of the dishes, only one rice arrived. My husbands dish was meant to come with two curries, only one arrived. It was also meant to include a vegetable dish, this did not arrive either. My dish was to include a curry and a Riata and a Dal, I got no curry but two Riata and two Dal. We also ordered a chicken chaat, this was to be a pancake filled with shredded chicken.... we received an empty cold hard pancake... no filling! The naan bread was more like a cold hard frisbee than something edible. The poppodums came open and had been half eaten.... I would put this down to a hungry delivery driver! I rang Bangla when I opened this bag of cold nonsense and old them how unhappy I was. The man said ( the same man I spoke to at 6 who said it was on the way), that they were busy, they had a problem with a delivery driver, that the town I lived in was a bit far ( 5 miles from his restaurant to be exact) . Pretty much a bunch of excuses and a pathetic attempt at an apology. I was told that next time i order to say that my meal hadn't met my expectations last time and they would see what they could do. I run my own business and to say to a customer that their address is a bit far (5 miles away) is a disgrace. I wouldn't have a business if I spoke to my customers this way nor gave them such horrific products or service. Overall a terrible experience
